grow older. Menopause affect women in different ways. Some women have
the feeling of sadness, depression and aggression during menopause. Mood

Menopause is a transition, a natural
change in a woman's life. It is an end to her fertility. If you are

transition is often refer to as perimenopause and begin in women when
they are in their 40's. Perimenopasue is the period that lead to
menopasue and menopause itself.

bleed at odd times, miss periods, or have heavy period as result of
erratic production of hormones.
Every woman menopause experience
is quite different from the other. But there is a common symptoms which
is hot flash and may be accompanied with a cold chill. These symptoms
can drain her energy and disrupt sleep.

menopause transition some women may experience hot flashes for a year or
two while others may be for many years.
Hot flashes can be
caused by certain medical conditions such thyroid diseases, certain drug
therapies as well as infections. Hence it is imperative to know this
factors and that menopause is not always the reasons for hot flashes.
How to Cope
Making
simple lifestyle changes can reduce the discomfort of menopause. This
changes include dietary adjustments such avoiding caffeine, alcohol,
sugary and spicy foods. Smokers are encourage to quit smoking. By
yielding to these changes triggers that leads to flashes will be
minimize. Women should always eat varied and balanced diet.
Exercise
has helped so many women during the menopausal phase by reducing the
symptoms. For example, it can improve her mood and reduce insomnia,
increase her bone strength and general health.
Husbands should
recognize that a woman may act abnormal during the menopausal phase,
therefore he should show understanding and be patient with her. Other
family members can help out, by not having unrealistic expectations from
her. Many things she used to do before may no longer be possible.
A Woman going through the menopause transition should openly confide to loved ones so that she can receive support.
